Which size should I choose?
Choose Small for cats and small dogs, or Large for big and long-haired breeds. If your dog has a thick double coat, the Large covers more in each pass.
Is it gentle on my pet?
Used with light pressure, the teeth glide through the coat to lift loose fur. Let the rake do the work rather than pressing into the skin, go slowly over knots, and stop if your pet shows any discomfort.
What coats is it best for?
It is made for undercoat, shedding and knot-prone fur - most useful on double-coated and long-haired cats and dogs, and less needed on short single coats.
How is it different from a normal brush?
A normal brush works the topcoat. The teeth reach the dense undercoat underneath, which is the layer that causes most shedding and most mats.
How do I clean it?
Pull the collected fur from the teeth after each use and wipe it down. Let it dry fully before storing.
